This role leads the social media & marketing aspect of our hotel.
As the Social Media Agent you will work alongside the Events Manager, feeding into the wider business social media strategy. You will manage the day-to-day delivery of activity across all our social media channels for the Hotel, Restaurant & Spa
This is an exciting and creative role in which you will drive the creation of social-first content, feed into wider marketing campaigns and help tell the stories behind our Hotel.
You should have an in-depth understanding of social media platforms, video editing software and scheduling tools. The role will require a strong creative eye, confident copy writing skills, good organisation and exceptional attention to detail.
This is a role that will take you away from your desk, building relationships and working closely with our front line team members to tell the story of our hotel and bring them it to life through show-stopping content.
You will be an ambassador of genuine hospitality and possess excellent organisational skills with a professional approach. You will be a proven leader as well as motivator of people and our social media development will be at the forefront of your mind.
Responsibilities Summary:
· Proactively monitor our profile on the various social media platforms and ensure appropriate responses are posted in a timely fashion.
· Attending to all customer queries, concerns, and comments posted to the company's social media platforms.
· Reviewing all social media posts for accuracy and ensuring inappropriate content is removed.
· Creation of engaging content for a range of marketing collateral including, brochures, websites, adverts, social media, newsletters and emails to create hotel awareness.
· Deliver social content that drives positive associations across all social platforms.
· Manage the postings on social media channels and identify what content is most effective to drive followers.
· Identifying and developing promotional campaigns that increase revenue, delight our guests and improve their experience.
· Implementation of a digital marketing strategy. This includes, but not exclusively, email campaigns, social media and other digital channels.
· Arrange content days and create asset/creative plans.
· Plan and manage our database including our email marketing platform.
· Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals.
· Create and share new content ideas and strategies for organic and paid campaigns.
· Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis, implement content calendars and lead generation strategies.
· To assist with promoting hotel offers and events
· To manage regular website updates.
· To ensure that all brochures, packages and information is up to date and readily available.
· To take part in sales and marketing strategy meetings for the hotel.
· Partner with local suppliers and businesses and build relationships for cross-marketing.
· Understanding the wider hotel business and keeping up to date with the hotel’s commercial strategy and promotions.
· Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful, and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations.
· Provide clarity and guidance on returns on social media investment, allowing the leadership team to take decisions on the success of campaigns
· Be aware of the key commercial targets and strategies so that social and wider marketing campaigns target the growth priorities of the business

Salary: Up to £24,000.00 per year
