Job description
POST Recruitment are recruiting a Social Media Executive to join our client, an innovative retail business based in Harrogate.
As Social Media Executive you will take ownership of the social media channels and be responsible for the planning, content creation and execution of the social media strategy to assist the business in achieving its objectives. You will plan all content across multiple brands and channels whilst being true to each brands tone of voice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for developing and maintaining our social media presence across a variety of platforms, including writing and scheduling posts and working with the Creative Team to create social assets which complement our B2C sales strategy.
- Create strategic social media campaigns to engage followers and grow our accounts.
- Seek and grow influencer collaborations.
- Work with the Creative team on creating compelling content, using a mix of video and static posts to achieve maximum impact and engagement for use on organic and paid social.
- Reach out to like-minded brands for social collaborations.
- Engage with followers and other social media accounts in an informative and on-brand tone of voice.
- Brainstorm ideas with the team for new campaigns and projects.
- Work with the wider sales and marketing teams to help deliver key messages and support on marketing campaigns and activity.
- Keep abreast of best practices and trending content, breaking news, online conversations, key dates / events and leverage these to create relevant and interesting conversations for our products and brands.
- Analyse and report back on content, looking at key performance indicators and content types to make recommendations.

What we need from you–
- Proven experience as a Social Media Assistant/Executive
- Confident and familiar with creating social media content.
- Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Creative thinking.
