Job description

We have an exciting development opportunity for an experienced driver to join our team, initially as a van driver and progressing to driving a heavy goods vehicle.

Based at our Newbridge depot, as part of the Trade Waste team you’ll be responsible for uplifting all trade services we offer including bin deliveries/removals and bag deliveries utilising a van. You’ll begin to build your experience and learn the driver routes while receiving training from our experienced team. Working with our Training Provider GTG, we’ll then sponsor you to undertake the HGV training programme and obtain your HGV Class 2 driving licence.

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for someone that is committed to their development, keen to build a career with Enva as an HGV Driver and passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

You must have:

  • A full and clean driving licence, valid in the UK
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience driving a van
  • A willingness to perform a wide range of duties, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uplift of trade services
  • Delivery and removal of bins and bags
  • Provide customers with the highest level of service
  • Demonstrate a duty of care to self and colleagues
  • Ensure vehicle security including equipment and plant
  • Maintenance of mandatory driver/vehicle records
  • Excellent awareness and understanding of Health and Safety

Salary and Benefits:

  • Earn £9.81 per hour
  • 48 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday day shift
