MMPR Marketing is an Arizona-based public relations, branding, social media and digital marketing firm, representing captains of industry since 1997. Our social media manager position specifically works within the hospitality industry, creating and managing content for restaurants, bars, restaurant groups, and retail establishments. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven person to join our team!
Job Title: Social Media Manager
The job entails working on-site in our fast-paced environment to develop and manage content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate can work efficiently while balancing their tasks and be willing to jump in and help their team on any project that comes their way.
In this position, you’ll work day-to-day on creating, staging, and launching new social accounts, scheduling pre-created content, creating new content, managing a content calendar for multiple clients, engaging with influencers on organic and paid campaigns, setting up and managing social media ad spends, and more. You’ll work directly with our account managers to prioritize content, as well as propose new trending ideas, tools, and techniques, too.
The position will have a part-time, in-person associate to assist with duties.
Specifically, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years in social media working across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- A high level of knowledge on Facebook Business Manager, Canva, Microsoft and Google suite of products.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Experience and knowledge of file handling and cloud storage platforms.
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Ability to work alone or within a team with both specific direction, or very little direction.
- Proactive in soliciting information needed to get the job done.
- An understanding and passion for fun, iconic brands that stand taller because of their approach to social media.
