Job description
We are seeking an experienced and talented Social Media Manager to join our team and oversee the management of three Instagram accounts: a bakery account, a dessert shop, and a clothing line. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating compelling content, scheduling and planning posts, and driving the growth and engagement of our online community.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the three Instagram accounts, including the bakery, dessert shop, and clothing line.
- Create high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content for each account, aligning with their respective aesthetics and brand identities.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.
- Collaborate with the in-house team to create original content, ensuring it is consistent with the brand's voice and image.
- Schedule and plan content calendars for each account on a weekly basis, ensuring a consistent posting schedule and optimal engagement.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive relationships with followers and customers.
- Analyze social media insights and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for future strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new social media platforms, and best practices, bringing innovative ideas to enhance our online presence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, design, and customer service, to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
- Continuously identify opportunities for growth and improvement, suggesting and implementing new ideas, campaigns, and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful Instagram aesthetics and growth strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, including Instagram, and a keen understanding of their respective algorithms and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and compelling content.
- Proficiency in content creation tools, photo and video editing software, and social media scheduling platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling, visual aesthetics, and branding.
- Analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Availability to work Tuesday to Friday at our office located at Unit 17, Wylam Road, L13 4BF, with the potential to add an extra day.
- Enthusiasm for expanding and growing within the role, demonstrating a proactive and innovative approach to driving online business growth.
