NOTE! This is an editing/ social media management job (no videography involved).
As a social media manager for the Julius Dein team you will be in charge of analysing strategy, editing and scheduling posts across our social channels.

You will be guided by some of the biggest internet creators on the planet, producing trending content with quick turnaround. Responsibilities:
As social media manager, your job will managing the JD social brand. This will content managing, strategy and editing. Examples of work will include:
editing, cutting and scheduling posts across 1.)JD socials and 2.) our subsidiary brand "Magic and Mayhem". This will include trimming down dull moments, potentially blurring watermarks, writing and adding captions/ subtitles, as well as finding appropriate thumbnails.
Sourcing and scheduling posts across one of our multiple snapchat shows and finding best thumbnails/ titles to optimise the show to get max views.- Editing videos and making them suitable for the appropriate social channels. Jumping in on social edits/ repurposing content where necessary.
- Working with JD/ team to grow instagram pages- reaching out to meme pages and get content featured.
Writing, strategising + posting content to drive to our new YT vlog channel ( including writing community posts)
- Designing attractive thumbnails / graphics within JD/ subsidiary JD brands.
- creating decks/ pitching new snapchat shows + other verticals.
- Other tasks relating to social media editing/ management.
- Other areas that you may be involved in include helping with creative video concepts e.g. helping strategize and implement video ideas and collaborating on strategy to dominate new social platforms - e.g. working on Youtube vlogs / shorts/ reels etc).
Requirements
You are definitely a match if you...
- Are fluent in English, impeccable grammar and punctuation skills.
- Have enthusiasm around video editing/ social media content/ social media management.
- Excellent video editing skills using software such as Final Cut Pro and / or Adobe Premiere.
- Great understanding of the different social media platforms.
- Passion for social media growth/ virality.
- Have understanding of storytelling and what makes an engaging, shareable story.
- Have experience working to strict deadlines and targets.
