Body Energy Club is all about community and customer connection by supporting a healthy lifestyle to make a positive impact. We are a local Vancouver company of 17 retail stores focused on vitamins, nutritional supplements, and proteins. Each location includes a smoothie bar serving refreshing smoothies, bowls, and juices using real food along with healthy grab and go prepared food.
We partner with local businesses to provide delicious smoothies, prepared meals, and snacks that appeal to a variety of tastes and lifestyle preferences. Whether someone has a restrictive diet or is just looking to get real food that makes them feel good, Body Energy Club provides affordable and convenient health options to the Vancouver community without compromise.
Who are we looking for?
The Social Media Content Creator will have an overall responsibility for developing and executing engaging social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, drive traffic to our digital platforms, and increase customer engagement for our US locations.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, a strong understanding of various social media platforms, and excellent communication skills.
How do you contribute to Body Energy Club?
- Travel to multiple US locations to highlight our stores on social media
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads
- Create and manage engaging content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for campaign optimization and stay ahead of emerging trends
- Engage with online communities and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media activities with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns, including targeting, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Generate regular reports on social media performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and customer feedback
- Stay up to date with social media best practices, algorithms, and platform updates to optimize content strategy and ensure compliance with platform guidelines
- Monitor and analyze user-generated content and online conversations related to our brand, making recommendations for brand reputation management and customer relationship improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, content creators, and marketing managers, to ensure cohesive messaging and consistent brand representation
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Flexible schedule availability required for all applicants during business operations for 7 days a week from 6:00am – 11:00pm
- Flexible schedule for occasional weekend events and activations
- Must be able to come in under short notice (i.e., events and promotions)
- Ability to travel throughout the US on a monthly basis to either Chicago or LA and future US locations
- Driver’s license and owned vehicle is preferred
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Hootsuite or Later Certification
- Indeed or LinkedIn certification in photography, analytics, etc.
- Professional Photo Portfolio
- Social Media Marketing Certificate is considered an asset
- Digital Marketing Certificate is considered an asset
- Certified Digital Marketing Associate is considered an asset
Experience:
- 2+ years experience in content creation, including mobile photography, and videography.
- Proven experience in social media marketing, preferably in a similar role
- 2+ years experience in customer service
- Up-to-date with the latest social media trends, technologies, and industry developments
- Proficient with layout and photo editing applications
- Proficient with video editing applications
- Hospitality industry experience is an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional prioritization and time-management skills, extremely organized, and remarkable at driving results with limited supervision
- Possess a deep understanding and passion for content creation and online culture
- Comfortable on camera, with bonus points given if you’ve crafted trending content featuring yourself as the subject before
- Handles a fast-paced environment, high volume of activity, and a deadline driven focus that remains composed under pressure
- Integrity, superior communication skills (both verbal and written), resilience, service orientation, and a collaborative influence style
- Possess a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information
- Proficient with computers and all Microsoft applications
- Able to work under moderate supervision and troubleshoot team’s questions/concerns
- Passionate and knowledgeable about Body Energy Club products and leading a healthy lifestyle
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Figma
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience with in app messaging
- Experience with 3rd party ordering platforms
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
- Exposure to elements such as noise, dust, variety of food products
- Exposure to physical risks such as working blenders, knives, etc.
- Ability to be on your feet for a long-extended part of your day
- It will require extended sitting at a computer or other connected device

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $42,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
