Job description
Do you like working outdoors and in all weathers? DFDS are looking for a Bowser Operative to work at their site on Immingham Docks. This role will be working 4 on 4 off. We are looking for someone that has excellent customer service skills who will be able to represent DFDS to the highest standard, work with due care and attention ensuring personal safety and of those around you.
You will:
- Monitor and replace fuel as required.
- Ensure all temperature-controlled units are running within a 5-degree tolerance in respect to the setpoint.
- Proactively observe units for faults or discrepancies and ensure any such occurrences are reported to all relevant parties, as per procedure.
- Carry out light checks on the trailers & visual walk round inspection for damages reporting to your direct shift Team Leader.
- Ensure your working areas are clear of obstructions, in line with departmental housekeeping procedures.
