Job Summary:
In our quest to have the most desired brands in the painting, decorating, construction and craft sectors, we seek a Social Media Marketing Manager to lead our digital strategy in the UK and Ireland. You will collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure cohesive and impactful campaigns.
Location
You'll typically work 70/30 from home/office, with occasional field visits for market research and trade events.
Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule engaging, original text, image, video, and mixed media content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and Youtube
- Manage the day-to-day operations of social media channels, including responding to comments, messages, and enquiries
- Plan and execute social media strategies that align with business objectives
- Collaborate with marketing, sales and our stockists to ensure alignment and consistency in brand messaging and visual identity
- Implement and manage an influencer strategy
- Update cover images, profiles and other page information for social accounts
- Design and send email marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, target audiences, and new opportunities for social media growth
- Monitor social media performance metrics to track campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions for optimisation.
- Use paid advertising to boost important pieces of content
- Stay current with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement

Requirements:
- BSc or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- A deep understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, and Youtube
- 3 years experience creating engaging content, including text, images, videos, illustrations and mixed media
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud apps
- Experience building and managing a content calendar aided by scheduling tools
- Ability to autonomously develop and execute social media campaigns that align with overall marketing objectives
- Fluent English and excellent copywriting skills
- Experience engaging with audiences on Facebook Groups and similar online communities.
- Ability to interpret analytics and derive actionable insights
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across multiple brands, prioritise and meet deadlines
- A willingness to a deep understanding of decorating products to engage with professional tradespeople
Hours
40 hours per week, with a flexible approach to monitoring social platforms and managing community interactions when target audiences are most active.
Salary
£34,000 per annum
