Role overview:
As the Social Media Executive you will be natural at social storytelling across multiple social platforms. You will obsess over knowing all about most recent trends and will create content that ClassForKids followers love to engage with.
This is a demanding and fast moving role that requires someone who is able to exercise good judgment, can work with and take advice and recommendations from a team of high performing professionals without being intimidated and display significant initiative and creative chops.
The Social Media Executive will consist heavily of providing a consistent supply of content for our social media channels.
You will LOVE working with video and coming up with exciting, fun new ideas to engage our audiences from helping our Content Specialist host webinars with kids industry experts or attending the occasional club shoot and event.
Day-to-day, you will:
Manage, Produce and edit content across Social Media channels (including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and Linkedin)- Manage and guide content strategy and delivery across channels in line with brand’s wider objectives
- Staying up to date with the latest social media trends (across all channels) and sharing these with the wider team
- Conducting regular competitor research
- Come up with creative concepts to generate leads by means of competitions and giveaways to widen our audience base
- Work alongside Partnerships Manager to identify opportunities for working with influencers and brand ambassadors
- Work with the wider team in brand, paid ads and content space to identify means of driving traffic back to our website
- Occasionally attend club shoots and events throughout the UK and Ireland
- Ad-hoc duties
Your skills and experiences might also include:
Proven track record of managing Social Media for business.- Knowledge and experience in managing content for social media with the ability to guide online content strategy and content delivery.
- Sound understanding of social media channels (including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and LinkedIn) and what makes effective and engaging content
- Ability to produce and edit content across a variety of social media channels
- A keen eye for aesthetics and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to think outside the box to come up with creative and innovative content suggestions
- Ability to contribute and manage social strategies in line with the brand’s wider objectives
- Experience using social media scheduling software such as Hootsuite, Later to pre-schedule and to frequently report back on all outgoing content.
- A deep interest and curiosity in social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat, the next cool thing etc.) and passion to understand what drives people to share content
- Can work independently and can hit the ground running (albeit with plenty of support)
- Photoshop and video editing software capabilities desirable
- BA (Hons) Marketing Degree or equivalent is desirable
