We are looking for an experienced and talented Social Media Co-ordinator to be part of the in-house marketing team, you will be responsible for the overall management of one of our flagship venues, Oran Mor's social media channels.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for the social media output of this venue across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as the rollout of Tiktok.
  • You will work closely with the Operations and Sales Team at Oran Mor to ensure Social Media content is consistent, high quality and reflects the many facets of the business.
  • You will be based in Head Office but will attend Oran Mor regularly to capture content, meet with the team there and content plan.
  • You will work closely with the Group Social Media Manager to agree content pillars for the venue, present monthly planners for feedback and input before rolling out.
  • You will also work to rollout centrally created marketing campaigns in a timely fashion and liaise closely with the Head of Digital Marketing to ensure digital messaging is alligned and impactful.
  • Your aim will be to increase engagement and interest across these channels and therefore grow and maintain customer interest and loyalty to drive sales.
  • Working towards agreed KPI's set by the business including growing followers, increasing interactions and improving direct bookings.
  • Working closely with the Operations Team in venue as well as the in-house photographer and videographer to ensure content is of the highest standard.
  • Working continuously on delivering a strategy which grows our Social Media reach and delivers the maximum impact.
  • Developing and implementing a Social Media Plan for the venue where specific targets or objectives have been set by the Head of Commuications and Social Media Manager.
  • To ensure posts are visually appealing, professional and showcase the USP's of the venue.
  • Working with the Social Media Manager to implement an ongoing schedule of photography and videography using the in-house available.
  • Writing briefs and attending shoot days to ensure content is of the highest quality.
  • Working with the Group Social Media Manager to help manage things like influencer/invited experience and competition content.

The Person:

  • Ideally will have a degree in marketing or communication/HND equivalent, would be preferred but not essential.
  • An active understanding of hospitality marketing, up to date with the latest trends and tools to ensure all Social content is of the highest standard.
  • An understanding of applied social media marketing, specifically Instagram and Tiktok, including best practice, scheduling tools, in-app functionality like swipe ups, polls, creation of reels.
  • Comfortable working on graphics including the ability to clearly communicate to designers what you are looking for, a knowledge of Canva or similar programme would be benefical but not essential as training will be given.
  • Confident doing Social Media outreach including liking/commenting and interacting with customers, as well as outreach via DM's to influencers, collaborators and more.
