Events / Wedding Coordinator

Required skills/interests:

  • Who can teach event planners and host webinar on how to conduct a professional event
  • Who can support our event planners to grow their knowledge and experience in events planning in order for them to be more successful in their future job roles or start up their own events planning business

  • · Creating your own multi-channel marketing campaigns and performance analysis (email, content, SEO, social media, direct, media partnerships etc).
  • · Writing compelling and irresistible copy and marketing campaigns.
  • · Website creation and management, with SEO best practices and performance monitoring.
  • · Sourcing and building relationships with new media and data partners and set up contra deals.
  • · Optimising cross-marketing opportunities between products.
  • · Working with sponsors, speakers and partners to promote the conference.
  • · Managing timelines, deadlines and revenue generation for multiple marketing campaigns cross-sector.
  • · Inter-departmental collaboration and innovation.

We have an exciting opportunity for somebody truly awesome to join our team, developing and coordinating SS EVENTS LOGISTICS around London

We are developing an events planning academy to create truly skilled future events planners. Candidates who join us either want to grow their skill and experience in events planning. In order to support our business or other business’s, or candidates who want to set up their own events companies. As well as planning your own events, your job will be to host webinar, training, supervise/support candidates on planning live events (before and on the day), usings our generating new customers strategy to teach lead generation, give one to one training and support, in order to aid their success.

This is important to us not only because it’s our way of supporting the future, but it’s our main strategy to support events specialist that will guide our logistics business growth and profits.

You will be in a team with 2 other specialist, an advertising & social media specialist. Finance, business and accounting specialist. As a team of 3 you will guide and develop our future event planners to success.

THE ROLE:

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clients with assurance, in a calm and confident manner, during pressurised times.
  • A requirement to be flexible and support your colleagues especially when covering holidays, sickness, and days off. Managing & developing venue relationships
  • Engaging with customers, creating unforgettable night/day
  • Building relationships with students

Once a wedding has booked, those bookings are looked after by the wedding co-ordinator, this will involve email communication as well as phone calls and face to face meetings.

Operationally managing the day of a wedding from the morning until the evening party is in full swing! This involves the logistics and any other help clients may require on the day.

You will be responsible for the planning and on the day management for weddings, corporate and private events that take place, it also involves hotel management, completing administration, as part of the planning and booking process. You will be working within a team of enthusiastic, dedicated, and professional people.

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
