We are looking for a Social Media Assistant to join the well-established Marketing team at Footasylum. This is an opportunity to manage the day to day running of our social media channels, develop social media strategy to best serve the different consumers, work with national and global influencers/athletes and be involved the launching of new social media platforms.
Reporting to the Influencer & Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of Instagram and Facebook accounts for our own brand and wider channels. This will include creating and scheduling content inline with our consumers tone of voice and cultural taste levels. You will also work to launch new social media platforms (TikTok) and new own brand Instagram/Facebook channels.
As part of the role, you will also manage PR and influencer marketing for internal own brands, working with external agencies and also working to find your own relationships.
A good knowledge of social media and cultural trends is key for this role as well as strong communication, organisation and creativity. Social video editing will play a part in this role so experience in this space would be preferred.
You’ll be working in a fast paced and energetic environment and will be expected to maintain a level of maturity and passion within the role.
There will be some travel within the role (both UK and abroad) as well as an expectation to work some evenings and weekends. We currently operate a 3 and 2 hybrid working model (3 days within an office, 2 days at home).
The Team
You will sit within the Social Media Marketing team who are responsible for all social channels.
You will have weekly meetings to discuss ongoing workload and goal setting. You will also have the opportunity for meetings with Social Media Manager and quarterly meetings with Head of Marketing to discuss longer term strategy and goal setting.

About You
We are looking for a Social Media Assistant who is confident, mature, passionate and has the drive to learn everyday. The role will require a high level of organisation, communication and creative flair.
Knowledge of different consumers’s is vital with trends, cultural moments, and social media also key. Experience of managing social media accounts and video editing would be preferred.
