Are you highly motivated, enthusiastic and have a positive, can-do attitude? We’re looking for someone who has an interest in and capability to inspire the younger generation into cyber security.
We’re looking for a dedicated social media content creator to help manage and grow our community of members, by helping promote the YCSC. You will be someone who has skills and experience in communicating on various media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Your main duty is to research and create content for our different social media channels, our knowledge bank platform and create email campaigns for members .
We are looking for someone to commit to at least 3 days a week (9am – 5pm) but we are flexible in terms of days.
You will be working alongside the Project team as your main point of contact, however, you will also be discussing ideas with the Directors and Steering Committee. This will give you the opportunity to showcase your skills and talents and help you increase your cyber security network.
You would have autonomy to deliver the following responsibilities, whilst having the support of the Project Team:
- Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our charity and increase bookings to our centre.
- Produce valuable and engaging content for our soon to be released new website, the knowledge bank and social media platforms that attracts and engages with our target groups.
- Produce content that exemplifies the User Experience (UX).
- Develop marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies in accordance with our new branding.
- Produce monthly YCSC newsletters, using Canva.
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
- General administrative tasks and support to the cluster, management of personal inbox and general marketing queries.
What are we looking for?
Skills And/or Experience:
- Self-motivated and able to work using own initiative, as well as part of a team.
- Experience with social media marketing, sales, or advertising.
- Hands-on experience developing campaigns and promotions.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skill, and presentation ability.
- Creating graphics using Canva graphic design software.
- Ability to edit videos for social media and our YouTube channel.
- Produce, edit and market a monthly podcast.
