Overview
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be an experienced Social Media Executive, confident in getting involved in social strategy and planning, as well as running the day-to-day paid and organic posts and community management. You will be experienced in managing a range of mainstream social media channels, creating engaging content and understand analytics and paid ads platforms such as Meta Business Suite and YouTube for business. You will have the skills to grow engagement across all Solmar Villa Holidays social media channel and develop each platform into revenue driving marketing channel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content planning: Understand the differences between the social media channels and create a strategy and tone of voice for each channel, with the aim of building a highly engaged community.
- Organic content creation: Ensuring social media channels have regular, high quality and creative content. Creating strong written posts that have excellent grammar and spelling. Ensuring there is a blend of promotional and engagement driving content. Working with our in-house creative team to develop high quality video content and images to accompany posts. Work with the wider marketing team to help deliver key messages and support marketing campaigns.
- Scheduling: Manage the content calendar to deliver regular messages across all channels and ensure posts are going out on time
- Community management: Answering direct messages, responding to comments in a timely manner across all social channels.
- Paid content creation: Agreeing and managing the social media budget with our Head of Marketing. Allocating spend to post to achieve maximum results for each campaign. Using insights data to create social media profiles and audience. Understand the social funnel framework for each platform and use this to build paid social campaigns that achieve tangible results. Work with the wider marketing team to help deliver key messages and support marketing campaigns. Manage all social paid media platforms
- Website & Blog Content: Support the wider marketing team as and when required to write new villa descriptions. Research, write or film engaging Blog / Vlog content which can be used across social media and the website.
- Reporting & Analytics: Analysing and reporting back to the Head of Marketing on a weekly and monthly basis. Making recommendations to increase engagement and to commercial KPIs of our social media channels. Staying up to date with all developments, such as legal and platform changes, new platforms and features
Key Skills:
- Exceptional understanding of paid media Meta Business Suite, TikTok for Business and YouTube advertising
- Experience managing external agencies
- Excellent attention to detail, with excellent grammar and spelling
- Very strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop recommendations.
- Good level of commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to work with people across different departments,
- Ambitions and drive to achieve and get the best results for each social media channel
- A strong focus on accuracy and timing with the ability to work under pressure.
- Good project management skills with the ability to deliver quality product information within tight timescales.
- Strong people skills with the ability to network and build effective relationships.
- Experience within the travel industry or similar environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Social media marketing: 1 year (preferred)
