Social Media and Communications Executive
College location: East Surrey College (Redhill) and John Ruskin College (Selsdon)
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:45-17:00 (37 hours/week)
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Communications professional to join a dynamic team and support the growth development Orbital South Colleges.
Working as an integral part of the marketing team, you will be responsible for championing the Orbital South Colleges’ brand and raising awareness through social media, communications, websites, brand development, targeted campaigns, and digital media.
You will create and unique and engaging content and materials that drives student enrolment across different social media channels, website and emails. You will also manage and update the College websites using a Content Management System and support all relevant College departments producing customer-facing communication to ensure a continuous and consistent message.
The successful candidate must have:
- Strong Communication skills is essential
- Exemplary copywriting and proof-reading skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience of social media marketing/management for an organisation
- Experience of placing and analysing digital advertising campaigns
- At least 1 year experience managing social media channels
