Scope of the role
We are on the lookout for a TikTok obsessed content creator with aspirations to progress into a digital marketer. You are a self-starter with a passion for social media and hands-on experience in producing content for a wide range of brands. As a Social Content Creator, your role will be customer-centric, collaborating closely with the Creative Strategist to bring concepts to life. Your primary focus will be producing content, or sourcing suitable creators to fulfill creative briefs for our customers, ensuring it is engaging, high-quality and drives strong performance on social media. This executive-level position offers the opportunity to develop your competencies in a dynamic and performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and communicate with up-and-coming TikTok influencers and creators
- Support the paid media team with the concepting and creating of social content (with an emphasis on Tiktok) that will drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
- Awareness of how to create for both organic and paid with a strong interest in D2C content.
- Understand and interpret performance indicators, report back to account strategists and suggest improvements.
- Be passionate about filming and appearing in front of the camera whether it is for a video recording or live streaming.
- Be self-sufficient with producing and directing your own content and take responsibility for filming when visiting customers onsite.
- Update the social team on weekly Tiktok and social media trends and summarise findings in a weekly newsletter to clients.
- Be a clear communicator, verbally and written, to be able to express creative ideas clearly and concisely to customers.
- Be a team player and work with different internal and external stakeholders to create the best possible creative outcome.
- Be adaptable and understand best practice for other social platforms such as Youtube, Pinterest and Meta.
- Brief external creators, provide feedback and monitor quality of output.
- Work together with the social team to understand performance and growth metrics in order to adjust creative for optimising posts.
- Participate in general brainstorms and content ideation
- Manage creator budgets and be accountable for recording spend accurately within scope.
Job Requirements:
- Client-Centric: Strong ability to understand and meet customer needs, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the content creation process.
- Collaboration: Excellent collaborative skills, working closely with the Creative Strategist to bring concepts to life and collaborating effectively with the Digital Designer.
- Commercial Insight: A deep understanding of market trends and the ability to apply this insight to drive business growth and success.
- Analytical and Creative Thinking: Proficiency in analysing data and performance indicators, combined with creative thinking to generate innovative ideas.
- Performance Driven: A strong focus on achieving results and exceeding performance goals, constantly seeking ways to improve and optimise content strategies.
Competencies & Experience
- Experienced in growing a following on Tiktok, any other social media channel would be a bonus.
- Strong interest in content and social media.
- Ideally experience in an agency or freelancer having worked for various clients.
- Ideally video editing skills either Adobe, Premier Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CapCut or equivalent video editing app or software.
- Very driven and enthusiastic about social media
