We are looking for SOC Analysts to work with one of our clients, an elite managed IT services provider. If you have experience as a SOC Analyst and you are looking to take your career to the next level, we would love to hear from you.

The client:

A market leading, highly successful organisation is hiring for multiple SOC Analysts, responsible for the administration and growth of the Security Operational Centre.

This role will provide great opportunities to get involved in a diverse range of transformational projects and driving best practices across the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to security threats/incidents

  • Analysis of security events to detect anomalous behaviour and identify potential threats

  • Operation of SOC products, SIEM, toolsets and logs to identify security attacks and threats for remediation, suppression and mitigation

  • Documentation of incidents and investigations

  • Conduct threat intelligence research

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments to ensure than all vulnerabilities are hardened

  • Stay up to date with the latest security threats through continuous personal development and education

  • Contribute to the implementation of new technologies or tools which will improve the SOC

Experience:

  • Experience within Cyber Security, Telecommunications or Service Desk

  • An understanding of and experience with cyber security tools and technologies, including Firewalls, security event management systems, endpoint threat response solutions, etc.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring that you can work well within a team and communicate effectively with non technical stakeholders

  • Problem solving skills, confident to identify problems, troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions to technical challenges

  • Customer service, a strong understanding of customer service and satisfaction, responding to incidents promptly providing positive support
