Job description: : Arun & Chichester Citizens Advice are working with Smart Energy GB to deliver a Smart Meter advice service to ensure that people in fuel poverty understand how smart meters can benefit them or a person they care for and increase the likelihood that they will seek or accept a smart meter.
This new post will focus on 1-2-1 advice on how clients could benefit from having a smart meter and in home display installed, the installation process and how they can use a smart meter to save money on their energy bills.
You will provide advice around some of the common myths around smart meters e.g., that they will cost money to install, not being able to switch suppliers, not being able to have a smart meter without the landlord’s permission and various health concerns. You will be a highly motivated strong team player with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and you will have effective written and oral communication skills.
