Job description
We’re growing our team and looking to recruit for an experienced Business Analyst, reporting directly into the Small Change Project Manager within our IT department. We’re looking for an experienced BA to bridge the gap between the business, project and development teams by using tools and techniques to elicit requirements, ensure effective prioritisation, run workshops and produce the appropriate documentation.
You will collaborate with the wider Card Factory stakeholders and wider BA community to ensure dependencies are identified and communicated as well as working directly with development teams to represent requirements at that level.
We offer smart hybrid working, allowing the successful candidate the opportunity to work from home, but also in our Wakefield office, great links to the MI and free onsite parking.
Main Responsibilities- Understand small change business needs and support the development of business requirements and process change
- Complete the analysis, mapping and communication of current and future state small change business processes
- Create and maintain user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to capture detailed non-functional requirements for small change projects
- Analyse and document new or changes to functionality for small change projects, challenging stakeholder’s requirements to understand the full impact and value of change to ensure correct solution design and estimation
- Work with development and QA teams to define testing scenarios, use case and support manuals for small change projects
- Communicate with other teams and stakeholders to identify, monitor and resolve dependencies for small change projects
- Facilitate workshops using a variety of business analysis standard tools and techniques for small change projects
- Contribute to the BA community by sharing knowledge and experiences for small change projects
The Ideal Candidate
- Must have previous experience of working as a Business Analyst
- Demonstrable knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall
- Experience in leading and influencing stakeholders to successful outcomes for small change projects
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
