Job Details: This Practice have an exciting opportunity for an RVN to join their friendly and supportive team on a temporary, 9–12-month contract, starting in August, with the possibility to become permanent. This is a full-time position working 40 hours over a four day period (days to be confirmed at interview) and includes a 1 in 5 Saturday morning in these hours. There are no out of hours.
You will join a friendly and supportive team of four vets and 5 RVNs as well as VCAs, nursing auxiliaries and an experienced client care team.
The clinic is well equipped for medical and surgical care of patients, treating a varied case load of small animals, cats, dogs and small mammals.
Experience is essential as they are passionate about nurse consultations and a keen interest in more specialised nursing clinics would be supported. The role also involves a variety of first opinion work including, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting with radiography and ultrasound, laboratory work, assisting the vets with consultation work and occasional admin and reception cover.
They are located in Guisborough which is located on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Multiple beaches are close by, and the vibrant cites of Newcastle and Durham are easily accessible.
