Skills Coach
Location: Home Based

As a Skills Coach you will be coaching and mentoring learners to successfully complete their Degree Apprenticeship programme, working in collaboration with QAHE, Induction Partners, Administrators and Academic Tutors to ensure that data management is of a high standard and that all students are being given sufficient, valuable & quality support throughout their learner journey.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage, with some guidance, a targeted number of learners throughout their learning journey

Encourage learners to apply their newly acquired skills and knowledge in their day to day roles

Ensure learners have clear objectives termly to support their timely progression.

Provide coaching via the appropriate methods to include, Virtual, Scheduled, on demand and flexible to best support individual learner needs

Support learners through their learning journey to successful completion of their EPA

Observe, review and provide feedback on evidence produced by learners throughout their Apprenticeship, to support completion of work Based modules, EPA and meet the needs of the Awarding Organisation.


Identify ongoing learners who are at risk of failing to meet the requirements of Gateway and EPA.

Proactive communication with Academic team, via direct contact and system engagement as appropriate, at all times to ensure learner support & progression.
