So what’s the job all about?
Our Intake Operative roles at Samworth Brothers won’t hang about for long. That’s because the people who’ll apply for them are full of energy and lightning quick.
Duties include:
- Booking in, using a scanning device, of raw materials and/or packaging.
- Unloading/loading vehicles in a safe manner.
- Monitoring delivery specifications.
- Use of lifting equipment in a safe manner (If trained).
- Ensuring stock is correctly labelled & rotated
- Ensuring allergens are controlled to the company policy.
- Basic administration, such as inputting information into a computer and answering a telephone.
- Working in various temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
- Ensuring a high standard of GMP and follow the ‘clean as you go’ policy.
- To follow work methods or any other training received in relation to their role.
- Adhere to the business health & safety policy.
Speed, stamina, and good communication skills are qualities we love here. Its chilly in there but being part of a high energy team will keep you toasty (and of course we throw in some warm clothing too!)
- Night shift available – 22:00 – 06:00 Saturday – Wednesday (£505.60 p/w)
