Introduction
My client is looking for a Software Developer to develop and verify embedded control systems for the highly complex nuclear programmes.
My client is a leading engineering and defence consultancy who operate across defence and nuclear sectors and supply their customers with world class engineering solutions to meet their needs.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must hold an active SC Security Clearance to be considered for this opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Work on software projects using either Windows or Linux
- Conduct peer reviews and software verification
- Work across the full Software Development Lifecycle
- Follow Nuclear Safety Culture
- Develop software using Visual Studio
- Use software static analysis techniques such as MALPAS, SPARK, Polyspace etc
Skills & experience
- Experience with Windows or Linux
- Experience with C, C#, or Ada
- Experience working across the full SDLC
The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:
- Experience using software static analysis tools is desirable (MALPAS, SPARK, Polyspace etc)
- Experience developing and verifying real time embedded control systems is desirable
- Experience with Assembler is desirable (such as C translator, compiler features, assembly code, disassembly of binary)
- Experience with ARM based systems, Python, and UML is desirable
- Experience working within the Nuclear industry is desirable
