Job Vacancy – Skilled Machine Assembler

Mono Equipment designs and manufactures a wide range of commercial bakery equipment at its factory in Swansea. The product range includes ovens, depositors, dough processing equipment and fryers. With global distribution, Mono’s products are considered market leading in many of its product categories.

We are currently recruiting for a skilled machine assembler to produce high quality products.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working independently to build product from beginning to end
  • Operating both power and manual tools.
  • Moving to different stations, allowing you to acquire new skills and gain a better understanding of the production process.
  • Assemble machines to correct specification and quality standards using relevant specification and materials
  • Quality inspection of own work in accordance with processes and standards
  • Delivering on Company Mission, Vision & Values.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Proven experience as assembler
  • Technical knowledge and ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Skilled in organising work area.
  • Additional tasks as and when required relevant to the job role assigned by management.
  • Completes all required safety procedures prior to and during operations.
  • Ensure that personal conduct is in line with management guidelines and company rules.
