Frontline is England’s largest social work charity. Everything we do aims to make life better for children who need a social worker, to help keep them safe from harm and to give them every possible chance to fulfil their potential, through developing excellent practice, leadership and innovation. We are looking for a highly organised administrator to support our dynamic and highly successful Admissions team.
A little bit about the role
The Admissions Administrator is a crucial role within the Admissions team, which sits within the wider Recruitment team. As a member of the Admissions team, you will have key responsibility for ensuring participants for the Frontline programme have undergone comprehensive checks and ensuring they meet the eligibility criteria in line with our requirements agreed with the Department for Education, Social Work England and our university partner.
You will support the Admissions Manager to ensure a highly effective and efficient pre-programme journey process and a positive applicant experience throughout. The Admissions Team play a crucial role in our vision and mission by supporting future participants in their onboarding journey to go on and complete the Frontline Programme, where social workers train and create social change for children and families.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Perform thorough checks of qualifications and right to work status, ensuring that all applicants have met the eligibility requirements for the programme
- Provide guidance to applicants and Frontline staff about the admissions process and programme eligibility criteria
- Maintain applicant data ensuring information is consistently kept accurate
- Cultivate professional relationships with applicants to support a positive applicant experience and efficient recruitment process
- Ensure regular contact is maintained with applicants so deadlines are being met
A little bit about you
We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. There are lots of opportunities for growth and development in this role – and for the right candidate to make the role their own. You don’t need to have gained your skills in an office environment, but you will need to have strong organisational skills, enjoy a varied and fast-paced role, and be confident using technology.
If you feel you have the skills to make a real impact and contribute to creating lasting social change for children and families, we would love to hear from you!
Please note that “Administrator” roles within Frontline are called “Coordinators” and so if you are successful in the role, your full job title will be “Admissions Coordinator”
From September 2023, this role will be moved out of the Recruitment Team and sit within the wider Participant Support Team.
We have increased the diversity of Frontline’s workforce in the last 12 months, but we need to do more to have greater racialised minority representation. We know the value racialised minority voices bring and therefore, we are strongly encouraging applicants from these backgrounds to apply.
