Full Time Burgess Hill, England 21730 - 23177 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Do you want to come and work for the NHS at a time when it needs you more than ever? Join our NHS family as a Healthcare Assistant and make a difference every day!

We are looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Healthcare Assistant who has a passion for delivering high quality care within a community setting.

The postholder will be working within the Burgess Hill Primary Care Networks (PCN) community team, based at Hurstpierpoint Health Centre.

The team is made up of community nurses, health care assistants, clinical leads as well as coordinators, administrators, social worker, psychological therapist, mental health practitioner and Age UK community link worker.

This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking for a career within healthcare, or an existing Band 2 or 3 Healthcare Assistant who wants to develop their clinical knowledge and practice within the community. Community and healthcare experience is desirable, but not essential as training will be given to develop the skills and knowledge required for this role.

Please note you will need a full drivers license and access to a car for work purposes.

As a healthcare assistant within the community team, you will be visiting patients within their own homes to undertake a variety of clinical skills including: insulin administration, wound care, pressure area care observations, subcutaneous injections and venepuncture.

If you are looking to work as part of a multidisciplinary team with a focus on providing high quality compassionate care to the most vulnerable within our community, and you possess excellent caring, organisational and communication skills, we would love to hear from you. A “can do” attitude is a must, as is a desire to be the best and provide the highest standard of care. If you are passionate about making a difference and want to contribute to a team that is continuously striving to achieve excellence then this could be the role for you.
