Job Summary:
Oversees daily operations of facilities and ensures coordinated efforts among all departments through managing people procedures and employees. Responsible for ensuring the safety of all employees and all SHECS procedures.
Major Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating operations of McKenzies Belfast facilities expanding to group facilities as required
- Reporting daily to group Directors and senior management
- Working with Senior SHEC Manager to maintain SHECS procedures
- Operational Performance of Facilities
- Meeting all production goals and targets
- Managing all loading operations to ensure sales and logistics goals are met
- Scheduling of work and employees
- Staffing of facilities to ensure proper coverage expanding across the group
- Meeting sales goals through efficient processing of material
- Acts as liaison to counterparts to achieve goals
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory
- Responsible for all reporting and recordkeeping - site diaries, etc
- Ensure compliance with purchasing procedures
- Maintaining fixed assets register ensuring plant and equipment are compliant to operational requirements(LOLER, etc)
- Responsible for ensuring timely and proper maintenance of all equipment
- Ordering or parts and equipment as required - ensuring quote and po procedure are followed
- Compliance with all policies/procedures.
- Implementation of company initiatives
- Conducting performance reviews with staff
- keeping track of staff overtime and organising to meet business requirements
- Ensuring site security is maintained and assist in opening and closing of sites
- Recruitment of staff as and when required
McKenzies sites operate 6 days per week. Mon - Fri 0800-17:30, Sat 0800-1300. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month. Boat loading and other group operations operate outside of normal working hours and the successful candidate will be required to support these when required.

Salary: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
