Job description

We’re looking for a Site Manager to join our North West Utilities Team for our Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent contracts. Based from a mixture of our Sheffield office and on our sites you can enjoy knowing that you not only help manage projects that are beneficial for our employees but for the community.


Location: Sheffield - remote working may be available, with travel to the office and sites required

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available, just let us know


Responsibilities

As Site Manager, you’ll be working within the Kier Utilities North West Team looking after Projects for our clients Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent. You’ll be supporting them in managing works on schemes between £5m-£10m in value on both clean and dirty water treatment plants.

Your day to day will include:

  • Working closely with the Project Manager and Program Planner to manage the site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the quality required by the client

  • Maintaining project targets and ensure that all Kier's procedures and Health and Safety legislation and are always complied with.

  • Drive cultural change into the delivery and design teams to eliminate and minimise physical and nonphysical waste


What are we looking for?



This role of Site Manager is great for you if:

  • You have experience in a similar role within the water industry

  • Understanding of UK Water regulations, CSCS Card

  • History overseeing health and safety within a site environment
