Site Manager – Shop Fitting
Plymouth/ Devon based
My client is an award winning shop fitter construction company based in Plymouth. With years of experience in the shop fitting sector they have built close relationships with the likes of Tesco, Co-op and Morrisons, having been voted Co-op’s No.1 Contractor.
My client is looking for a Site Manager with a building trade background that doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty. The candidate will be responsible for looking after the on-site teams as well as liaising with clients. Client satisfaction is a key quality that this company strive to achieve, so being able to speak to clients with patience and detail is key.
Key responsibilities:
· Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to staff and the public.
· Supervising construction workers and hiring subcontractors.
· Buying materials for each phase of the project.
· Monitoring build costs and project progress.
· Conducting quality and safety inspections.
Must haves:
· SMSTS.
· CSCS.
· Asbestos Awareness.
· Experience of working in a temp works supervisor/ co-ordinator position.
