BM Contracting Services is looking for a Site Manager to oversee the site operations and ensure that all safety requirements are met. The Site Manager will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the construction site. The Site Manager will organize the construction activities and ensure that all safety requirements are met. The Site Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that the site is clean and organized at all times. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising a construction project, can read and interpret blueprints, have good communication skills, and can take initiative to take care of the needs of the project.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee all site operations and ensure that all safety requirements are met
• Organize and coordinate all site activities
• Ensure that the construction site is clean and organized at all times
• Work with subcontractors onsite to coordinate project tasks as needed
• Ensure that all quality standards are met onsite
• Work with Project Managers to review project progress, issues, and risks
• Monitor quality control inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Ensure that all labor hours are tracked and managed at sites (onsite)
• Maintain an understanding of job specifications and their implementation at each location (onsite)
• Take initiative to take care of needs of the project by taking care of waste management or other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising a construction project, preferably in a Site Management.
• Excellent communication skills; must be able to read & interpret blueprints. Must be able to take initiative at sites & take care of projects in their entirety. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary: £24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Belfast: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• SMSTS (required)
