Job description
We are looking for an experienced administrator who has worked in the construction industry to support our site team on one of our Manchester developments. The role is busy and varied so excellent organisational skills are essential along with the ability to develop and maintain strong, professional working relationships.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Support induction process
- Control & monitor visitors to site
- Issuing fob passes for main turnstile.
- Taking of meeting minutes and distribution.
- Meeting room management and organisation, housekeeping.
- Diary management and organisation
- Filing and archive management.
- Assist the management team with administration duties.
- Housekeeping – includes stationery orders & kitchen supplies.
- Gather data for feedback to Safety Officer & HR
- Maintaining site holiday chart.
- Updating site organograms
- Respond to and operate within company Health and safety policies and guidelines.
- Update staff movements daily
Key Skills
- Logical, well organised
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Good communication skills
- Good level of IT competence (word/excel/power point etc)
- Numerate, literate and accurate
- Good presentation
- Positive response to pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to manage change and adapt to new procedures
- Knowledge of the industry
Essential: 2 years working in administrative role in construction
Essential: 5 GCSEs or more (Grade 4 /C and above)
Desirable: Knowledge of MSite (or similar system)
