We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual as a Sister on Kings Lodge (Ward 3), a motivated RN you will have a passion and commitment to maintain high quality standards working with patients in a specialist area. You will work across professional boundaries.
This is a 19 bedded specialist Rehabilitation Unit providing Adult Neurological Rehabilitation for patients with complex and specific neurological conditions, including traumatic and acquired brain injury, based at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital.
You will be supported to increase and develop your clinical and leadership skills and during your induction you will spend time with all members of the MDT.
Requirements of the role:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Neurological rehabilitation experience is desirable.
- Must be able to demonstrate Multi-Disciplinary working
Sister - Specialist Rehab
To take responsibility and accountability for delegated nursing care within the clinical environment. To provide nursing leadership and be accountable for patient, public and staff experience. Lead, offer clinical advice and support management of services to ensure the delivery of high quality, effective and compassionate nursing care.
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate holistic, individualised patient care in a safe and caring environment in the most efficient and clinically effective way whilst acting as the patient’s advocate and maintaining privacy and dignity. To provide advice and support to junior staff and learners in all aspects of the delivery of high quality care.
