THE POST – Simulation Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Simulation Technician who will assist academic staff to run simulation and clinical skills training involving high / low fidelity simulators within the School of Health and Life Sciences at our Lanarkshire or Paisley Campus. In this busy role as Simulation Technician, you will provide technical support primarily to Nursing related programmes.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Educated to at least SVQ level 3 in Healthcare Practice, or equivalent, with experience of working within a Clinical Skills Education environment A flexible and adaptable approach to fulfilling duties with the ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues and sharing expertise.
- Experience setting up, operating and troubleshooting IT equipment, simulated manikins, AV equipment or other mechanical or electronic devices.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with staff and students on all levels Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
