Job description
The role will include:
- Leading the development of temperature control components of test systems for the semiconductor testing industry.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline design team on overall system design and performance to assure product meets customer requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and on refrigeration mechanical design
- Conduct research and create designs for new product developments
- Use SolidWorks CAD and Simulation software to design, model, validate (FEA, CFD) and perform drafting/documentation of product designs and concepts
- Identify and select materials needed for production
- Define test plans and provide direction for product testing with support of lab staff
- Produce final drawings, specifications and perform production release process in PLM system
- Understand how one's decisions affect product cost, performance, and quality
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of experience in a technical role as an engineer is required, specialization in heat transfer and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) preferred.
- Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer and Thermodynamics in cooling systems for industrial applications
- Experience with CNC machining, sheet metal, tight tolerance components, and refrigeration systems a plus.
- Proficient user of 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks 2018 or newer version required
- Proficient user of simulation software SolidWorks Simulation, or similar required.
