Job Description
Responsible for social media and marketing community, the role of the Social Media and Marketing Intern is to support, enhance and manage social media and web based marketing activity.
This means high social media engagement and awareness and business growth through digital channels.
The role requires an highly proactive, knowledgeable and creative individual who can utilise social and web based platforms to enhance Roma’s visibility externally and increase business.
Role responsibilities
- Create digital/social campaigns and communities using different and appropriate styles of writing that fit within the marketing strategy to increase direct sales and build a stronger market presence
- Gather data to evaluate the success of the campaign against objectives and identify and areas for improvement for future campaigns
- Use search-engine optimisation and social searching techniques to gain more customers organically and capture a higher market share
- Identify & recommend the appropriate platform/s or channel/s to use for media campaigns to ensure high visibility within the market
- Suggest and initiate new ideas and proposals for creative content to be further developed
- Ensure content is accessible to all end users and best practice language is applied
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, colleagues and partners
- Understand the user experience to ensure content is focused on maximizing engagement
- Engage with audiences through social media to promote brand awareness and obtain sale leads
- Manage and monitor all social media accounts to improve social media presence
- Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content to understand trends, identify any gaps and improve content
- Assist with planning and hosting marketing events and be in attendance when required to establish new, and support ongoing relationships
