The Role
Responsible for the Mooring and unmooring, safe receipt, storage, and delivery of bulk liquids of a flammable or hazardous characteristic including the general upkeep and security of the establishment. To ensure operations are undertaken in a safe and efficient manner, complying with Regulatory, Briggs Marine, Terminal, and Client Procedures.

Principal Responsibilities
- Liaise with Shift Supervisor and Berthing Master to meet operational requirements.
- Operate mooring equipment and machinery within prescribed safe working limits.
- Meet operational requirements by actively participating in the mooring advisory role and accepting your contractual responsibility to provide on shift and overtime cover to complete this service.
- Connect and disconnect cargo transfer hoses and / or arms safely.
- Perform stand-by duties during cargo transfer operations.
- Sample cargo and ballast as per APT Operating Procedures.
- Assume berth ownership and perform routine checks of jetty area.
- Crew mooring boat as required.
- Carry out routine maintenance on Jetty Equipment and Boats as directed.
- Load barges as directed.
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor or his nominated deputy you will perform and assist in the above duties and responsibilities, flexible working is essential to meet operational requirements by actively participating in a call-out roster and accepting your contractual responsibility to provide overtime cover in accordance with the shift pattern.
