The Purchasing Administrator is a varied role that supports a busy purchasing department with their general administrative requirements, in order to ensure effective and efficient operations within the department. In addition the administrator provides support to the Indirect and Prototype Buyers which includes raising and issuing purchase orders, creating, managing and developing databases along with the preparation and completion of weekly and monthly reports. The administrator works closely with the recruitment team to support the Undergraduate Student Placement recruitment that happens on a yearly basis and assists with on boarding the new starters recruited from this campaign. This is a fast paced role which would require someone to be highly organised with the ability to prioritise their workload and process a high volume of work to a high degree of accuracy.
