Dream Doors Harrow based in the heart of Pinner is locally-owned, family-run business backed up by national brand with over 100 showrooms across UK specializing in kitchen makeover to suit every customers’ needs. It offers a quick and cost-effective alternative to a kitchen refit by simply replacing old designs with brand new high-quality products and achieving a new kitchen look for less money, time and hassle.
We are looking for a part time (3 full days a week) showroom assistant to meet and greet prospective customers in the showroom, demonstrate and explain the products and services. Maintain the excellent reputation of Dream Doors Harrow by answering the showroom phone & emails professionally and dealing with all enquiries with a courteous manner at all times.
Key responsibilities and deliverables
- Aim to get as many appointments as possible, and keep the appointment diary up to date.
- Act as a point of liaison between the Director, suppliers and fitters to ensure that customers receive the best possible service throughout the sales process.
- Ensure that the customer is kept informed of progress, upcoming appointments and agree fitting dates with them.
- Maintain up to date and accurate records, both via spreadsheet and the CRM system (training will be provided)
Other responsibilities
- When necessary, receive deliveries from suppliers and verify they are accurate before signing them off.
- From time to time you will be asked to carry out duties that are outside your normal job role, to enable the smooth running of the business.
Personal Specifications
This role requires great attention to detail as well as the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain the reputation for excellent customer service. We are looking for an articulate, diligent and flexible individual who has a strong track record in a retail or a showroom environment. Ideally from within a similar industry. Must commit to occasional Saturday's work so flexibility desirable.
Candidates must have strong organisational skills and be punctual with excellent time management skills. Is it important to be physically fit to help with kitchen furniture stock check up and heavy goods lifting. They must be personable, friendly and confident with a can do attitude. They must also be IT literate with experience using Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
Proof of the right to work in the UK and References will be required.
