An exciting Fixed Term Contract awaits a developer who can bring great knowledge and experience to a complex custom web app project.
Box Menswear is a mens clothing ecommerce company growing in the UK and around the world, and we require a developer to oversee, build, implement and manage all aspects of a new modular type WMS system. This is to be built from the ground up and for internal use, and the system will have four key components;
- Order management flow based on a rules engine to identify correct shipping services.
- Building API connections to shipping service partners, in order to generate the correct shipping labels for orders.
- The management of inventory across multiple ecommerce channels
- Integration with some consumer hardware, primarily a barcode scanner for picking accuracy.
This project will require extensive knowledge of Shopify and the workings of APIs.
The basic functionalities and structure are ready, and now we need someone who can develop this as quickly and strategically as possible! All ideas and suggestions will be taken on board, and we want to discuss with the successful candidate how to achieve this task as efficiently as possible.
The role is a Fixed Term Contract of 90 days. You must be able to work to strict deadlines, as we aim to have this new WMS system implemented in time for our peak period (Q4)
Salary is between £2,666 - £4,166 per month, depending on experience
Requirements;
- Minimum 2 years of web development experience
- Extensive knowledge of Shopify and API integrations
- Proficiency in C++
- Understanding of CSS, JavaScript, Ruby, and Figma
- Ability to use initiative and bring ideas to the table
This role is office-based only in Speke, Liverpool. Please bear this in mind when applying.
Start date is ASAP, as we want this project up and running in no time.
