About the Role
The role of a Shop Manager is to build, lead & coordinate a large diverse team of highly skilled & motivated individuals that represent our communities. They are central in creating a collaborative environment with the energy to deliver our vision, strategy, and purpose in line with our operational framework, processes & policies, to create positive impact for children.
Located in Fulwood area of Preston, our well-established shop is at the heart of the local community. Our shop is fast paced and friendly, with a dedicated and passionate volunteer team.
The shop has additional potential with opportunities to form stronger community links, increasing the number of volunteers, donations and income.
About You
You will be someone with exceptional people skills, a leader who understands the importance of community and enjoys supporting people to exercise similar passions through volunteering.
You'll bring your innovative energy to help create a vibrant atmosphere in shop. You'll have a can-do attitude and ability to approach challenges in a positive way, knowing when to reach out for support and guidance where you need it.
Previous retail experience is not essential. If you have transferable leadership skills or experience managing volunteers and are looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
The starting salary for this post is £21,000, however once confirmed in post, there will be opportunity to influence pay through performance.

Location – This role will be based on site at our Preston shop.
Flexible / Part-Time Working - This role can be performed on a part-time (4 days per week) or full-time basis. We are happy to discuss flexible working options at interview.
