Job description

We are looking for a shop assistant to join our busy team in Leyton.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Receiving and checking deliveries, unpack, re‐shelve or storing stock – heavy lifting involved.
• Greet customers appropriately and determine the customer's wants/needs
• Assist the customers in locating and selecting merchandise within the store.
• Offer advice by demonstrating knowledge on products, prices and stock availability.
• Assisting in regular stock checks and stock takes.
• Assist in changing displays of shop stock.
• Picking and dispatch online customer orders
• Accepting payments for purchases at POS terminals.
• Vigilant at all times.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and have good English language skill.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Leyton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
