We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to join our team at Flory Industries As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a direct sales team, promoting and selling machinery to customers, and achieving departmental sales quotas. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote and sell machinery to direct sales customers, ensuring sales quotas are met or exceeded.

• Manage a direct sales team, providing coaching and leadership to achieve departmental sales quotas.

• Recruit, train, and manage dealers/representatives for international sales territories.

• Motivate, coach, and advise the sales team to improve performance and meet individual goals.

• Participate in sales call rides, field days, and trade show events.

• Develop and maintain excellent customer relations.

• Plan and oversee weekly team and one-on-one sales meetings.

• Manage subordinate staff in their day-to-day performance.

• Set goals for the sales team and ensure they are met.

• Organize demonstrations and show equipment as needed.

• Project and forecast annual direct sales, actively participating in strategic planning.

• Collaborate with planning on sales projections, new product runs, and build sheets.

• Work with marketing professionals to survey consumer needs and trends, recommending new product lines and opportunities.

• Monitor the industry, business environment, competitors, and customers to develop action plans for expanding and retaining the customer base.

• Continually train other department personnel.

• Uphold and enforce company policies, including the employee handbook.

• Approve direct sales department expenditures.
