Atariya Foods Retail- Golders Green forms a part of the Atariya Foods Ltd group of companies which is known for being at the heart of Japanese cuisine supplying the highest quality wholesale fresh fish, sushi & sashimi.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking an approachable, friendly and professional individual to work as a Shop Assistant in our Retail and Sushi takeaway shop. Our ideal candidate will have previous retail experience and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Requirements: What does the role entail?
Assist store manager in shop opening or closing procedure.
Create product displays.
Receive stock deliveries and Restock shelves
Help customers find items
Handle payments, deal with customer complaints and issue refunds
Assist in managing of stock inventory, and the reordering of products for shop.
Organise, package and process orders for our takeaway collection.
Some, heavy lifting may be required from time to time.
Some important bits
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High attention to detail
Enjoy multi-tasking and fast paced environment
Basic knowledge of food and beverages
Knowledge of Japanese food, language and culture.
Passionate people with can do attitude, great understanding of the products we sell.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.50-£11.37 per hour
