Job description
Experienced shop Assistant is required to work in our clothing alteration store.
You must be able to demonstrate a positive can-do attitude at work, be self-motivated, highly organised and have good communication skills (verbal and written).
Duties include (but not limited to) the following:
- Dealing with customers as and when required and instructed; this includes serving customers face to face, answering phone calls or replying to email and social media enquiries.
- Assisting in maintaining a consistent flow of production, which may include assisting in the fitting process, doing any pre-alteration preparation of the garments and accessories and quality check of finished work.
- Managing social media platforms of the business as and when required and instructed.
- Organising garments, fabric, zips, threads, etc. at the workplace.
- Keeping the workplace clean and tidy. You need to be creative and initiative when it comes to tidying up and organising different materials.
- Previous customer service experience is essential.
