Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our team as a Dispatcher, Retail Shop Assistant, and Business Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the dispatching operations of our online shop and wholesale parcels, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of our retail shop. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive growth and expand our customer base. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities:

1. Dispatch Operations:

- Coordinate and oversee the dispatching of online shop and wholesale parcels, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

- Monitor delivery schedules, track shipments, and address any issues or delays that may arise.

- Collaborate with delivery drivers to optimise delivery timeline and improve efficiency.

- Maintain accurate records of dispatched orders and update relevant systems accordingly.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

2. Retail Shop Assistant:

- oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail shop, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.

- Train and mentor retail staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

- Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and implement strategies to maximise revenue and achieve sales targets.

- Maintain a clean and organised store environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities to drive foot traffic and increase sales.

3. Business Development:

- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and expansion into new markets.

- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and emerging trends.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as suppliers, vendors, and potential business partners.

- Prepare and present business proposals, and close deals to drive business growth.

- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to stay ahead of the market and identify potential risks or opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

- Proven experience in dispatch operations, retail management, or business development.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with stakeholders.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and make data-driven decisions.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Proficiency in using technology and software systems relevant to dispatch operations and retail management.

- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, logistics, and retail industry trends.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
