The Role:
- Acting as the main point of contact for the company's import or export customers
- Liaising with agents overseas
- Booking haulage
- Responding to any queries or RFI's within departmental KPI's
- Advising customers of any delays to their cargo and providing solutions to any issues they may have
- Complete bookings and processing any amendments
- Dealing with invoice queries
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience of shipping/logistics/freight would be ideal but not essential
- Strong customer service background
- Confident communicator
- Team player
- Eager to learn and able to work well in a fast paced environment
