Traffic Management Operative - Must have a manual drivers licence with less than 6 points

Due to our rapid growth an opportunity has arisen to join our team within the Operations Department as a Full Time Traffic Management Operative based out of our Brentwood yard.
Salary: To be discussed depending on qualifications, skills and experience. Shift rotation 7 days on and 3 days off, then another 7 days on and 3 days off, followed by 4 days on and 4 days off. This means you will work only 2 weekends per month
Must have experience/qualifications in Traffic Management
Wages are paid fortnightly, and this position comes with a company van and overtime opportunity

Guaranteed hours of work are 48 hours per week depending on location and rota. Hours and shifts include days, evenings, nights and weekends with the option of overtime as required. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota.

Responsibilities:
The Traffic Management Operative sits at the heart of everything we and you will be responsible for:
- Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying cones, signs, frames, and bags and high and other equipment on low speed roads.
- Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses
- Maintenance of temporary traffic lights
- Helping and guiding new trainees
What good looks like:
Qualified up to 12d, 12ab, M1-M6 and Unit 2 is highly desirable however we will provide training where necessary
- TTMBC / T1 / T2 qualified is also acceptable
- Knowledge of Chapter 8
- Physically fit and able to pass a safety critical worker medical,
- You will possess a full driving licence, with no more than 6 points.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Positive 'can-do' attitude
- Adaptability and Flexibility
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent Timekeeping
