Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Shift Supervisor to join us at our Carlsberg site in Northampton.
You’ll provide leadership and guidance for your team of warehouse colleagues to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication and addressing operational issues effectively.
This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working on 4 on 4 off 06:00 - 18:00 18:00 - 06:00 shift pattern.

We’re looking to offer an hourly rate of £34,573.36. In addition, we offer 18 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Ensure that day-to-day operational changes are incorporated into the department standards
- Continuously strive to improve the operational effectiveness of the site, to ensure high quality of service to customers
- Ensure all colleagues comply with company procedures and are aware of their own responsibilities to others
- Monitoring key performance indicators for the area
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams to ensure excellent performance
- The ability to work to the highest levels of safety, service, accuracy and quality
- An understanding of key operational cost drivers and cost centre management
