Job description
Paul, our Site Director at Sandbach Motorway Services, is looking for a new Shift Manager to join his McDonalds team.

Are you looking for a fun and flexible role within a fast paced environment?
Being a Shift Manager means you are the face of our McDonald’s unit and will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service at all times. We will provide you with excellent on-job training and support to carry out the role effectively. Training will include how to deliver excellent customer service, the highest standard of food, how to achieve operational brand standards, leading your team while supporting the Management team and all elements of health and food safety procedures.
You will be paid £12.10 per hour and we would be happy to accept applications from candidates looking for full time hours.
Experience:
- Creating a welcoming environment.
- Confidence in dealing with customer queries effectively and professionally.
- Some supervisory experience
- Leading a team
Once trained your responsibilities as a Shift Manager will include:
- Managing shifts to consistently deliver the highest standards of quality, service and cleanliness.
- Take accountability of business results, KPI’s and promotions.
- Attend and participate in weekly managers’ meetings.
- Complete, verify and monitor food safety procedures during the shift.
- Maintain stock levels, ensure accurate orders are placed, in addition to the quality and condition of products.
- Managed completion of planned maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Encourage customer feedback, and respond to customer complaints confidently and follow the customer recovery process.
- Create a positive, dynamic and energised working environment.
- Manage rota’s, and ensure labour controls are in place.
- Ensure the best service is delivered to our customers every time.
